Does Walmart Canada price match?
The policy, plainly
Walmart Canada's pricing policy does not offer competitor Ad Match. If an identical item is currently sold and in stock for less on Walmart.ca, an associate can verify that Walmart price in store and may require supervisor approval; the manager on duty has the final decision. That is an own-channel price correction, not a match against another retailer.
Scope: This is Walmart Canada’s published policy. Store inventory, identical-item eligibility and associate or manager verification still apply.

- Not applicable — the published policy does not match another retailer's ad. It only describes verifying an identical, in-stock item's lower Walmart.ca price in a Walmart store.
- Proof you need
- A competitor flyer is not accepted. For a Walmart.ca price difference, show the identical in-stock Walmart.ca listing to an associate for verification.
- Competitor advertisements and competitor websites are not eligible
- The Walmart.ca item must be identical and currently in stock
- Walmart may limit the match to one per customer, per item, per day
- Rollback, clearance, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and other limited-time or special-event Walmart.ca prices
- Marketplace, third-party, auction and membership-site prices
- Bundles, instant or mail-in rebates, financing, gift-card offers, percentage discounts and BOGO offers without a specified price
- Prices from other Walmart stores; the manager on duty has the final decision
What to do when Walmart.ca shows a lower price
- 01Open the live Walmart.ca listing and confirm the item is in stock.
- 02Check that the product is identical to the in-store item, including size and attributes.
- 03Ask an associate to verify Walmart's own online price; do not present it as a competitor price match.
Walmart Canada does not match competitor flyers. That differs from No Frills, FreshCo and Real Canadian Superstore, which publish eligible local-competitor programs with banner-specific limits.
